RETIREMENT OUTLOOK 2020 

An Educational Course for Adults Ages 55 to 70 

OBJECTIVE EDUCATION AND INSTRUCTION –

Unlike financial programs that focus on a specific topic, this comprehensive course will help you see the “big picture”. It examines many aspects of personal finance and how they can work together to create a complete game plan for retirement.

This course is educational and non-commercial. No specific financial products will be discussed or sold. Your sessions will be instructed by a qualified financial professional who will be able to enhance the presentation with stories of real-life experiences. Attendees will enjoy the interactive lecture format where participation and questions are encouraged, though not required. 

LEARN HOW TO –  

  • Maximize cash flow and Social Security Benefits 
  • Reduce or eliminate taxes & maximize tax efficiency of withdrawals from retirement accounts 
  • Properly convert your IRA to a Roth IRA
  • Factors to consider before taking a lump sum from your pension 
  • Evaluate & plan for health care and long term care 
  • Stress Test your portfolio against a variety of risks 
  • Plan your estate properly through the use of wills, trusts and tax reduction strategies

THIS CLASS IS DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR – 

  • Individuals and/or couples who are retired or will be retiring in the next 5 years and have saved at least $250,00 for retirement 
  • Pre-retirees & retirees who may be concerned about income, taxes and risk in retirement
  • Individuals who own mutual funds, a TSP, 401k, 403b, 457, or an IRA

COURSE MATERIALS –

The course textbook includes examples and illustrations to help educate you on retirement. Your workbook is written in easy-to-understand terms to help you learn more about the financial concepts discussed in class. These are yours to keep. The book and class materials are designed to follow along with the presentations. Together, these materials provide a step-by-step process to apply your knowledge and will become a useful reference tool after the course is complete.
