COFE was established with a desire to serve and educate people in all areas of retirement and financial health. We are committed to maintaining a robust standard of ethics and professionalism. Each educator has agreed to comply with COFE’s Membership Bylaws, Compliance Guidelines, and to complete a mandatory Instructor Orientation.
Our instructors are licensed in their particular state and area of expertise, and have successfully completed a professional and criminal background check prior to their acceptance as members.
COFE membership dues are paid annually by each financial professional member.
Don Adams brings 18 years of experience in the financial services industry to the classroom. He has served as a licensed broker, insurance and annuities agent, and full-service financial advisor. Don also spent 16 years in the United States Army as an Infantry Non-commissioned Officer and is a veteran of the Persian Gulf War. Always a student of finance, he is currently enrolled in the College for Financial Planning’s Certified Financial Planner program.

Fozia Andarge graduated from University of Central Florida with a B.S. degree, majoring in Finance. Upon graduation, she worked at an investment bank as a stockbroker then at an insurance company as registered representative. Fozia’s ultimate dream was to be an independent financial planner and business owner. She founded FM Financial Services in 1992 and the company was incorporated in State of Florida in 2000.

She embarked on her career in financial services when her 93-year-old beloved Grandma Pearl expressed concerns about outliving her money. Lori soon realized that her own diligent research had led to a passion for helping others plan their retirement, so she decided to change career paths. In 1998 Lori became licensed in insurance in Florida.

Dan Brooks is a native of Iowa and after graduation entered the US Navy Nuclear Power Program. Upon discharge he followed in his family’s footsteps by purchasing the family restaurant from his father, a WWII decorated veteran. He opened a second restaurant two years later, selling both in 1991. After a few corporate years in the restaurant business, Dan began his new career in the financial world. He moved his family to Florida in 1998.

Stephen Pricer graduated from UCI in 1972, and then spent seven years as a computer programmer and systems analyst. In 1979 Stephen found his place in the financial services industry with Mass. Over the course of his career, he has held been instrumental in building employee benefit and retirement plans for several companies. In addition, Stephen oversaw the formation of an innovative health insurance coalition for public agencies in Riverside CA. From 2007 to 2013, Stephen professionally traded precious metals at Monex Deposit Company.

Mark Rose is a native of Ardmore, OK and has a strong background in teaching and enjoys helping his students learn about retirement planning. His goal is that once the class ends, attendees have a much better understanding of the possibilities, and how to reach their retirement goals.

Mark Schnizer has been in the insurance and financial services profession since 1988. In early 2011 Mark joined Professional Planning Associates as partner. Phillip Wehrman came to the financial industry in a roundabout way. Phillip originally went to school for mechanical engineering and worked designing fastening systems for the automotive industry. Not being able to sit and watch the Iraq War unfold without participating, he joined the United States Marine Corps as did both of his brothers. Upon his return to MI, he knew he did not want to sit behind a desk and draw. Phillip pursued several different career opportunities before coming to the realization that he wanted to help people protect their most import assets.
After the decline of 2008, he saw the pain and disconnect people had with their finances. Phillip now feels blessed to have the opportunity to truly show people all their choices so they can make hard, sound decisions. Phillip recognizes that financial education is a most logical start in order to achieve the financial security that we all want to achieve. Coming from the automotive industry, there was only one method taught to save, he is excited that he can now share superior methods with those who need them most.
