Dan Brooks is a native of Iowa and after graduation entered the US Navy Nuclear Power Program. Upon discharge he followed in his family’s footsteps by purchasing the family restaurant from his father, a WWII decorated veteran. He opened a second restaurant two years later, selling both in 1991. After a few corporate years in the restaurant business, Dan began his new career in the financial world. He moved his family to Florida in 1998.

Matthew Sherman, Founder and President of Insurance My Way, has always had a passion for helping others. Matt was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida and continues to live there with his wife of 35 years, Carol. Matt and Carol have two grown children and one grandchild. A true Floridian, Matt is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys boating, fishing, camping and golf.
Dan Sherwood, of Knoxville Tennessee, is both a U.S. Military Veteran as well as a Veteran of the Insurance and Financial Planning industry with over 22 years of experience as a Financial Services Professional. He is a long-time entrepreneur and has been a proponent of financial education throughout his career. Starting out in 1993 as a Marine Corps non-commissioned officer, he has been a proven leader in taking on critical assignments as the head custodian of his entire company armory. After receiving his Honorable Discharge from the United States Marines in 1997 he started his Financial Consultant career with a Top Fortune 100 Company.
Working with individuals and business owners, he developed his career as a financial strategist in industries ranging from retirement planning to healthcare, and has held several leadership positions with various organizations including numerous Non-Profit Corporations, and several fortune 500 Companies. His dad was an educator, and Dan has chosen to continue the tradition of educating others. With an emphasis on education, Dan has been able to enrich client experiences, and develop innovative approaches to financial security. He has traveled all over the country, including 47 of the 50 United States of America in order to help educate others on their retirement benefits and insurance strategies to enable more people to live and retire with financial security. Dan also serves as a non-profit public speaker in order to motivate others to fulfil their true purpose in life. He has extensive experience in Federal Employee Benefits, TSP Plans, Retirement Planning, Medicare, Social Security, Estate Planning, College Funding, Mortgage Protection, Wealth Transfer, Disability Income, Long Term Care Planning, Annuities, and Life Insurance Policy Reviews.
When he isn’t busy at work, you can find him spending time with his family, exploring the great outdoors and enjoying the natural beauties of this world in which we live. As an avid musician he also enjoys playing his Taylor Guitar while drinking coffee on his front porch.
Casey Short is the President of Provision Retirement, a company specializing in developing strategies and income plans for individuals and families who are nearing retirement or have already retired. With a degree in finance and a Series 65 license, he is also a sought-after consultant and educator, and has traveled the country helping numerous organizations and individuals. He works with a network of certified financial planners, income strategists, money managers, and tax planners, giving him the ability to share a share a wide-array of knowledge during his courses. With the heart of a teacher, Casey can take complex financial topics and share them in a way that is easily understandable for his audience. He is also a financial advisor with Provision Asset, LLC.
Casey, his wife, and their three children make their home in Little Elm, Texas. He enjoys fly fishing, woodworking, mission work and spending time with his family.
Wayne Sisk began in the financial services industry in 1974. He has spent his entire career in the Chicago Metropolitan and Northwest Indiana communities serving individuals, families and business owners. Wayne recognizes the need for Adult Education and feels tremendous satisfaction when sharing his knowledge. He brings to the classroom extensive teaching experience in formal education settings and less formal, community based settings.
